This Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes can be prayed at any time, but it is especially appropriate in the days before February 11, the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. We begin the novena on February 2, the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, and complete it on February 10, the eve of the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes.
These nine days will take us on a pilgrim journey – respecting that we are asked to “Stay at Home” to protect one another and the most vulnerable – the journey of these days is one that will involve our heart, mind and spirit.
Let your mind grasp that God meets you wherever you are at this moment…
Let your heart be open to where God wants to accompany and guide you in these days…
Let your spirit embrace the great needs of the people around you, the needs of our world…
In these troubled times when, because of the Covid-19 pandemic, that has affected many lives and livelihoods, let us ask the Lord that through the intercession of Our Lady of Lourdes, to grant us renewed confidence, hope and peace in our hearts.
We hope you will join us at 10am each day for the Novena Mass and at 12noon for Novena Reflection and Prayers.
