Join the Conversation – Synodal Pathway

A synodal Church is a Church which listens, which realizes that listening “is more than simply hearing”. It is a mutual listening in which everyone has something to learn. All listening to each other and all listening to the Holy Spirit, the “Spirit of truth” (John 14:17) in order to know what God “says to the Churches” (Revelation 2:7).

Pope Francis – Message on the occassion of the 50th Anniversary markiing the First Synod.

As individuals and as a community of Faith, we are asked to share and listen to one another on our experience of Church:

  •        Looking back… our joys + sorrows…
  •        Looking forward… our fears + hopes…

You are invited to this conversation in any of our churches in the Pastoral Area:

Oblate Church of Mary Immaculate, Inchicore: Wednesday, 30th March at 7pm

St Michael’s Church, Inchicore: Monday 4th April at 7pm

Our Lady of the Wayside Church, Bluebell: Wednesday, 6th April at 7pm

Come to whichever date or venue suits you

We are asked to listen with understanding, to respect each other’s experience, and to try to walk in the other person’s shoes.
